Atlantic Grains Council
The Atlantic Grains Council was incorporated in 1984; it is the only regional organization to represent grain and oilseed producers on a regional and national level. The Council is run for producers by producers. The Council is a founding member of Grain Growers of Canada; a national organization representing the grain and oilseed producers from coast to coast.
Beer Canada
Beer Canada is a voluntary trade association that advocates on behalf of its members, makers of Canada’s most popular adult beverage – BEER! We work with our members, governments, stakeholders and the public to improve the marketplace for beer.
Brewing and Malting Barley Research Institute
Canadian malting barley is known around the world for its high quality. BMBRI supports this leadership position by helping to ensure new Canadian malting barley varieties are better for growers and meet the premium standards of BMBRI members and their customers.
Grain Farmers of Ontario
Grain Farmers of Ontario is the province’s largest commodity organization, representing Ontario’s 28,000 barley, corn, oat, soybean, and wheat farmers. The crops they grow cover over six million acres of farm land across the province, generate over $2.5 billion in farm gate receipts, result in over $9 billion in economic output and are responsible for over 40,000 jobs in the province.
Manitoba Crop Alliance
In the wake of fundamental changes in the cereal industry, there emerged a need for producer-led cereal associations to provide leadership in wheat and barley research and market development.

SaskBarley Development Commission
The Saskatchewan Barley Development Commission (SaskBarley) was established in 2013 and is led by a producer-elected Board of Directors from across Saskatchewan. SaskBarley’s purpose is to increase the production and value of barley for both the producer and consumer.
Western Barley Growers Association
The Western Barley Growers Association is an influential farm organization which is voluntarily funded by the large membership made up of farmers, industry and end users. It provides a leadership role in supporting the value-added industry
in Canada and abroad. It is run by an elected board and acts as an information center for barley production and marketing.
